Army MOS 14T PATRIOT Launching Station Enhanced Operator

The 14T PATRIOT Fire Control Operator is currently a critical MOS, currently offering $24,000 cash as an enlistment bonus.

The PATRIOT Launching Operator works directly with the PATRIOT launching stations. An important part of the Army’s air defense, the PATRIOT missile system can launch advanced-technology ammunition that is capable of neutralizing multiple air targets.

Primary duties include:

  • Place the PATRIOT launching system in the field
  • Operate PATRIOT launcher electronic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Handle and supply PATRIOT missiles
  • Establish radio and wire communications in the field

14T Training Requirements

Job training for a Patriot Launching Station Operator requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training held at Fort Bliss, TX.
